About Team YUMB: Diversity in Experience and Expertise
We are a young and dynamic... no, that's really too cliché. Let's approach it differently... Our talent pool at YUMB consists of a mix of permanent employees, freelancers, and young talent who are given a chance in the industry through internships or entry-level positions. For each new concept, a matching team is assembled, with room for team members to participate in the success of the venture.
Our core team is composed of a diversity of experience and expertise. From extensive experience in marketing and team management as a key link in the strategic development of our projects, to developers as an essential addition in the area of prototyping and product development.
We believe it's important to also give young talent the opportunity to jump in. They are often motivated and valuable, but in search of the right environment. Whether it's for a technical and/or creative contribution to our content production, or participating in concept brainstorming sessions with a refreshing mindset: we see the potential and like to find a valuable role within the team and our projects.
It is our ambition to further expand our versatility, and to focus on attracting more young people and young adults, to give direction to YUMB together, and to broaden the output of innovative concepts.
Creative, Effective, Entrepreneurial
YUMB was founded in 2021 under the leadership of Sander Goorden, our CEO, who loves prototyping inspiring ideas, making them tangible, and move them beyond the 'logo phase'.
Sander: “I am a proud husband and father of four. My family is my greatest pride and we have a loving family life. Cooking and eating together are my favorite moments. With over 25 years of experience in programming and web development, I am mainly driven to use my technical and creative expertise to make a social impact.”
Specialisation in SEO (Google optimisation) and internet marketing, laid the foundation for an exciting and diverse professional journey. Since then, Sander has played a crucial role in various startups and contributed to the successful development of several companies and their (online) products and services. For example, one of these companies, has helped thousands of entrepreneurs to get their websites high in Google search results and also multiply their conversion (and revenue). This venture eventually grew into a beautiful enterprise with significant revenue, providing many valuable insights and experiences in online entrepreneurship.
“In 2009, I started a collaboration in the healthcare sector, offering e-learning courses. This initiative grew into a successful company with thousands of students annually. Through these projects, I have not only developed my technical skills but also gained a deep insight into entrepreneurship and product development,” says Sander.
In recent years, we have been able to support multiple entrepreneurs and startups in various areas and roles, ranging from technical expertise to leadership and management. These experiences were the inspiration to give YUMB a new direction, and shift the focus to developing and launching (in-house) business concepts, and guiding and supporting entrepreneurs who can no longer see the digital forest for the trees in these tumultuous times.
